1/20/13, 1st keeper of the year!

I had to get out before winter sets in tomorrow....it was very windy and the lake is stained.

On the 1st cast, using a new bait for me (Whopper Baits This-Esse worm in Dark Blue Saphire), I thought I felt a bump. I was totally not ready so I cast again and sure enough...thump!

Nothing to write home about but he was between 1-2lbs. No more bumps as I spent time chillin' and talking to neighbors. Once the sun dipped down, it got chilly!


Time to go fishin' again!

I was at an indoor track meet all day.  Qualified for the US Indoor Nationals in March in the pole vault..........but have not decided to compete there yet.  I need to jump higher..........  roll

That's a good thing, I'd be worried if a young girl passed you and you couldn't keep up.
