pre-Frankenstorm fishing

I hope some of y'all were able to get some action in before this hurricane hits.  I decided to hit the pond nearest my house in South Riding for a couple hours.  Bass were all over the Baby 1-minus.  5 on that, plus another 2 on the shaky head as a follow-up lure.  Biggest went about 3 lbs, and only one dink.  no pics, I only get the cell phone out for 5+ pounders these days.  I left the fish biting to come home and watch my Cowboys.  I should have kept fishing.

Re: pre-Frankenstorm fishing

Woke up this morning and with LCPS closed...well, you might guess where this is going.  Light rain and winds around 20 mph.  My little pond is blocked on all sides by woods and small hills, which mitigates the wind greatly.  Walked down there and fished for about 90 minutes.  4 fish on a chatterbait (my muddy water special).  All over 12" with biggest pushing 3 lbs.  again no pics, didn't want the phone to get too wet.
