Big Reds

Spent three days down at Lynnhaven Inlet attempting to get some speckled trout.. only caught a few very small ones. The puppy drum where very thick and fun on light tackle. Lost count the first day on purple tail puppy drum. On day 2 we could not find any fish that measured so we packed up and ran to CBBT. Glad we did as we hooked up on 12 bull red drum and landed 10.

Today we cast around CBBT and had a blast with blues and sea bass.
Got some croaker also today.

Man those are some pretty fish! I'll be down there later this month...can't wait.

What was the length of that monster croaker? Looks slightly smaller than a Volkswagen.
