I got out to the pond around 10 and fished for about 2.5 hours. In those 2.5 hours i caught two 17 inch 2.5 pounders and another 17 incher that was 3 pounds and chunky (the female). The 3 pounder took my bait a total of 6 times throughout the day. The first 2 she mouthed it lightly, the next 2 she took it, i set the hook, and the line broke (leaving the hook in her mouth until she freed it), then she took it again, i hooked her and she spit it, and finally she took it and i got her... I like dumb fish.
