1-29......3 Nice bass this morning + pics
Found them biting on a somewhat shallow dropoff (5' deep) in a cove. Picked off 3 bass in 6 casts in the same spot.
1-9
2-3
and 2-0
Hooked a nice one that looked to go maybe 4 pounds, but it shook the hook near shore. Will probably go back after that one this afternoon.

I am buying some stock on companies that make blue/black jigs.....

Well, they are probably doing a good business............I lost 2 today to hangups. Went back for Round-2 and picked off 2 more bass, but smaller than this morning.
14 oz and 12 oz.......
First time in a long time that I can remember catching 5 bass from these lakes on a January day.
I'll take 5 bass totalling 7 lbs, 6 oz (71-1/4") any winter day 
989 to go!
