Jeff English and I made our 2nd attempt to see if any YP were there. After an hour of jigging in the usual YP spots, only a small crappie and small bass to show for it. No one that we talked to had caught a YP either. We ended up bass fishing the next 2 hours...........2 dinky bluegill, a small crappie and right before we got off the water..........a nice 3 pound 6 oz bass on a silver buddie. Jeff has the pic and should post it later.

Still too early for the YP .

That bass is Yellow enough, paint some black vertical stripes on it and you could have claimed a record Yellow Perch.

Everything we caught was very pale. They'd been sitting on the bottom a while.............

Yeap. Someone posted the website a while back. Mine are not the "original" silver buddies.

Much rather be out catching dinky fish than not...and then, a BONUS at the end! Gotta love it!
