Playing Frogger on Alder, 5-16-08

Friday night a couple of us headed out to Alder to test the grassy waters. Much to our delight, the frog bite was on and the topwater action constant as we nailed 14 bass in under two hours. The wind played a key role in roughing up the water enough to create more of a reaction bite early. Protected coves (from the wind) lured hungry bass to the surface. I lost one that probably went 1.5 - 2lb, but all of the other fish were 1lb or less.

Tight lines!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
