5-2-08, Cedar Lake report

Spent an hour fly fishing after dinner and caught 10 blue gill and 2 bass (maybe 3/4 lb each). I think the big bass are deep. The blue gill had to be coaxed to hit the fly but they were a blast on my 4 wt.

I also went out on Friday afternoon. Lost count on how many bass, around twenty. i was free lining some 3" minows under a bobber.  got tired of catching small one's in cedar, I wish I had bigger minows. Caught this strange looking bass in Beech. Notice the big under bite.
