Ashburn Lake Report - 04/11/11

After fulfilling daddy duty all weekend, I took an hour and headed over to Ashburn Lake and fished the wind protected south shore. I tossed a shallow running crankbait (courtesy of Dominion Dan) and ye old faithful jig and pig. While the crankbait didn't produce, I did land a couple of one pounders on the jig. I saw a gentleman out there on a fully outfitted yak. I also saw that he marked a hole that was just out of my reach. Hopefully he had a good day on the water as well.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
