farm pond2

while not the glory hole, this is my third good fish from here this year.
21.5 inches puts it solidly in the 5.5 to 6# category, as it was pretty stout

it came on a rattletrap

also caught some nice crappie on the red craw bomber, as well as some shortie bass

J&P produced a few, but could not carry the day.

it never fails to amaze me how big a fish that is.

a ten pounder would really blow me away

Re: farm pond2

water temps going lower & lower

each pond is different

one is rattletrap
while another squarebill
jig bits are tougher and tougher
something about the rhythym of the crank seems to call them in

dont marry any particular mindset
seems like i usually find them in the last place i look

Re: farm pond2

Well done Jeff. I so am with you about how each of these ponds is diffrent. I told my friends my car is like a bass boat. If its slow, I load up and drive to the next pond. Ashburn is great for that.
