Library and Mystery Ponds - 022711

I fished the Ashburn Library Pond today hoping that a spinnerbait in the stained water would be just what the fish wanted. I made my way around the whole pond tossing a spinnerbaid and rattletrap to no avail. I crossed paths with two other guys and they were unsuccesful too. Being this was my first pond to hit, I figured all I would appreciate was the nice weather.

After hitting a couple AVCA ponds, I went back to to the Mystery Pond and chunked a spinnerbaid a bit. I landed this nice 2lber within the first 15 minutes...

I then broke off my spinnerbait, tied on another one, and hauled water. All in all, not a bad day.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
