OK...you got me. I caught a 1 pounder at Cedar yesterday on a spinner bait. I fished for 10 minutes max!

I had not thrown conventional tackle in more than 30 days!

Before that, all I have caught (and fished for) were blue gills and small bassies using my fly rods.

Time to go fishin' again!

Picked up 17 bass on a SB on the way home from work.  Biggest was about 1.5, but about 1/2 of the fish had been gorging recently (extended bellies).

i have been fishing a bit

when the wind is on the bank along the blvd, ashburn is  still a good bet for a quality fish.

walk the full length pitching J&P. drop-hop-hop repeat, on the edge.

you might get one bite.

last time 4me it was a 3#LMB

as curly has indicated, the cold water patterns are emerging...

I cleaned up w/an orange craw rattletrap in the last week.

in one pond the were taking it on the drop.

these fish were often hooked so that their mouths were wedged wide open.

really bizzare, and not easy to release

watch the fingers...nothing like a bass shaking with a mouth full of treble hooks.

I'd post my butt off if I lived over there with the "Village People". I can make stuff up and post if you'd like. big_smile
