Went to take a pic of the 2 pounder............and got a "lens error" on my Nikon S210. So no pics. Also caught a 3-2 a little later. Both on a P&J.

Searched the internet for Nikon lens errors............it could be toast .

$150 for a new one or $100+ for repair . Tried all the "internet suggested" fixes and NADA . I'll be taking it apart this weekend to see if I can get it going again .

did you drop it on the lens? very common problem on point and shoot cameras does nikon have a trade in program like canon?

Nope, no drops. Apparently a design flaw common to that series camera. Don't know of a trade in program........I'll look........

It can get wet but it does not float. I tie on a float when I yak...should do the same on the boat. Will take care of it tonight!
