Cedar, 7-10 & 7-11

I walked to the cove where the creek comes in but there was no water coming in...some rain we got! The prognosticators were even talking FLASH FLOODS last night...non event!

I caught three shorts swimming a lightly weighted speckled pumpkin colored  tube. Nice breeze...beautiful day!

Fished the yak for a couple of hours and caught 9!

One (12 incher) was on a weighted tube down deep (11' of water).

The rest were shorts and they all were caught in the shade by the shore or around the spill way.

Yeah, saw you out there and I caught 24 "shorties" in about an hour.  All cookie-cutter 5-6" bass.  I downsized rod, line, and lure.  6" bass on an ultra lite still isn't much pullage.  They were schooled behind Ernie's house and just busting the top every few seconds in that cove.

My "shorties" are 9 to almost 12....thus the term shortie....not quite legal.

A 5-6" bass is a shrimp!    wink

Those shrimps is what I catch on the fly rod when fishing for BGs.....

I actually went up to your house yesterday evening to let you know that they were swarming everywhere in your cove/point.  You were not home sad .  You could have caught a hundred in 20 minutes on your fly rod last evening big_smile.

Re: Cedar, 7-10 & 7-11

do you get the BR fries w/ the burger?

dont forget the real cheddar and two strips of bacon.

compress w/ palm and slice in half prior to consumption.

even @ $10, the platter is a reasonable buy
