ash mon night

got on the water for about 90 min at dark.
caught 2 good bass. 1 was about two pounds.
the other went about 3.5

both were b/b j&p fish, hard cover , relatively deep water

the water in there is so green the jig disappears after about 8" of water

I think they treated it with something. It turned that color right before the fireworks.

Re: ash mon night

i was wondering. it looked the  chicago river on st patty's day...

the good news is the algae isnt too bad

it is choked up at the top end before the 1st island like normal, but so far the span b/t the 1st & 2nd island is still pretty clear

and me still thinks this is the best 'quality fish' water in the village
