I went to the pavilion with patrick and brandon . i got one on the first cast that i saw that was  just over a pound. then i caught another that was maybe 2 1/4 . then about 10 minutes later a hooked up! i thought it was a carp at first the way it pulled. finally landed it after about a minute and 1/2  of the fight. it looked to be 3 pounds. it was short and thick, could have been a 5 if it was longer. i put it on the scale and it said 1.5 i was with 4 other people and they all said it was at least 3. i dont know why the scale was off. i landed 4 more that were dinks, and patrick landed 7.  all of these bass were caught on a brush hog. mine was texas rigged with a 1/4 ounce weight in green pumpkin. patricks was weightless in watermelon. both caught fish but goes to show that the bigger ones were on the bottom. i managed to get the pictures on facebook if anyone wants to see them.
