Re: Beaverdam Creek Reservoir - 3/20 Morning

I might be able to do Sunday if you don't mind a fly line being tossed in the air.

I don't really expect to be out there on Sunday, but if I did it wouldn't be until late afternoon/evening.

Nothing.  Only sign of fish were two floating shad that had been dead a long time.

Re: Beaverdam Creek Reservoir - 3/20 Morning

Hey guys...I'm wondering how this trip to Beaverdam went?  I never saw any pics.  I'm thinking about hitting it this weekend but wanted some guidance.  How was the water?  What lures were working? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Beaverdam Creek Reservoir - 3/20 Morning

Spent a couple hours out there last saturday. The water is high and stained in the low 50's. Lots of downed trees across the paths made getting around the lake on foot pretty difficult. Kayak or canoe is the way to go.

Caught her on my first cast, no other bites for me the rest of the morning.

See post #29.

If I get back from a motorcycle ride before too late I'm going to go out there Saturday late afternoon/evening.

Re: Beaverdam Creek Reservoir - 3/20 Morning

Guys, thanks for the update.  I'm heading out Sat and Sun morning to give it a try on the kayak.  I'll be in the mustard colored yak.

Purple...that looks like a nice fish.  I've always caught decent fish, just not alot of them.  That seems to be the norm.

Any special tips for fishing this reservoir?
