Fished Alder and a pond in centreville today, got 2 from alder and 1 from Centreville before I headed out and met a buddy in burke to fish a local lake.
He pulled the fist bass a nice 6#9oz hog, he thought he snagged a carp or big shad on his jerkbait, then I hit a 4#9oz and 4#4oz on a spinnerbait, also got a big ole cat

we found a big school of shad and worked our baits through them, all three were caught in a 10 minute window before the shad moved deeper
