Aggressive is the magic word...on top water bugs! I've been out for an hour or so the last two nights fishing top water with my 5wt fly rod. The blue gills have been aggressive. So aggressive that they smacked and didn't take the lure half the time! I think they may be bedding down again. Caught several dozen nice blue gills including one big one with a hump back!

Also caught 5-6 very small large mouth bass.
