I figured they might be biting with the storms acomin'!

Not as many as I expected but my stogie session (usually an hour) resulted in 4 LMB, this being the largest!

Nice tug on a Light stick.

Two greenies (sun fish that is) with this one a bit bigger than the other.

Lots of wildlife at the pond; Red-winged blackbirds (a couple would swoop down, they were pissed I was there), a couple of Blue Herons, a Green Heron (we saw a pair yesterday as well) and lots of turtles.

We need the rain!


Time to go fishin' again!

Nice outing!  That sunfish was hungry!  I saw a whole flock of red-wing blackbirds this Spring along the river.   That was a first for me as I did not know they traveled like that.

They can be angry birds when guarding their nests. I’ve seen them swoop down on people and attack blue herons!
