April 1st Report
Double boat trip for crappie with hero's. Four vet's and two boats made for a heck of lot laughing and fun despite the raging winds and rain that never let up. Both boats managed to find some crappie in large size.

This trip was sponsored by FCO. I was honored to lead it and was at the ramp at 0640 to find WIND, rain and lightning! 
As always, Capts. Mike and Dave were cool about it and knew of places to hide from the wind.
Unfortunately, four crew members did not show but that made it that much better for Melvin, Clifford, John and Rogelio. Incredibly, Melvin and Clifford used to serve together in the DC National Guard and had not seen each other in years. They had no clue that they would see each other on this day.
We did have a weather delay plus a mechanical delay but a quick bad fuse fix took care of it. And off they went.
Time to go fishin' again!

My two guys were active duty. Similar to the other anglers, they are in the same unit, live in the same housing development but, neither one knew the other was going on a fishing trip until they got out of their respective cars at the marina.
