9/19/08 Goose Creek Adventure

I headed out to Goose Creek yesterday for a little while after having a delivery and service performed at my house in record time. They say 12-4 is their timeframe and they were both done before 1!

I saw a ton of good fish ranging from 3-4 cats to 2lb smallies to a huge LMB that may have gone 4lbs. I threw everything I had but they were highly skittish. I landed one smallie that put up a beautiful fight with some acrobatic jumps. He was a thick 1lb. Other than that, I missed some smaller bites, but really enjoyed the scenary. I would like to go back at a more optimal time (morning or evening) to take advantage of the schooling fish.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Sounds nice!  Got any pictures?  What part of Goose Creek did you fish?

No pictures. I parked off the side of Riverside and walked to the bridge, down the hill, and then fished and walked north.
