We knew we had a fight in our hands on Day 2 but we were still in Paradise so our spirits were up!
We launched in the same place and off we go. This boat was coming back from an overnight deep dropping grouper trip.
It was actually cool and foggy but we knew that would not last long as the temps were forecasted at near 90dF!
We looked for fish for a couple of hours and we finally found some clean water and some red fish.
John had the 1st shot. He made a perfect cast and the red mouthed the fly and spit it out! What??
Then I saw another one and I made a leading cast. It was completely ignored. Then, just like that...they were gone!
At this point, we were very frustrated so we went looking for the little guys again and had a fun couple of hours of catching 'em!
Yep...those are the only fish pics we took.
My heaviest catch!
Again, incredible scenery...
And our welcoming committee when we got back to the ramp.
We knew that we could have caught some bigger fish with the poppin' corks and shrimp but we wanted to catch them on fly and artificials. The weather was great and we had a great time!!
And don't cry for me Argentina...we would do it again tomorrow....after the full moon.

Is that a cluster of oysters? Better to be out on the water and enjoying that weather and scenery than behind a desk....even if it is from home. lol Great pics ernie!
