I like to fish higher water and after the two rains we got (and warmer water), the situation called for a quick trip out. I have two daughters having birthdays the next couple days, so I risked the wind.
I got hit on a tube about half an hour into my outing. Heavy fish.
That was a rush! I was excited for the day. It was 3 hours before I would get another bite. Lots of floating debris, logs and trees!
This 15 incher hit the ned.
Was it windy? Heck yeah! I was able to stay out of it for most of my trip. Getting back to the ramp was a ride! Water is still rising...

Excellent fish!
I saw a video of the water at Harper's Ferry. A beautiful blue/green and clear Potomac meeting a very fast and chocolaty 'doah. That's all coming down now.
Also, there was a tourney out of POR yesterday.
The peepers were out in force yesterday in P-ville. And I saw the 1st red winged blackbird this morning.
