I got out from about 8am until 1:15pm. Fishing was tough, but I got one on the board on a ned rig. Water was cler and cold. 38-41. Got bit after 12.
Lots of gulls on the water. They started eating something around noon. It turned out to be flying insects that looked like termites, maybe? Got off when the wind picked up. Good to get out.

Should have slept in!
But that's a nice fattie!

I was trying to avoid the 10-15mph winds forecasted for the afternoon. I was glad to get one. It tugged good! I love the goldish color they have in the colder water.

Yesterday was a great day to be outside if you could escape the wind. Nice going.

Temps are on the way up since then...

I saw that. Today's rain won't help that. Rain is good, though if it raises the level enough. Stupid wind kept me off the water Friday and Saturday.

Interestingly, the lowest temps of the day are around 8-9am. Then they start going up but it's not until the sun goes down that they start to get close to peak temps. Sometimes, that (peak) happens at midnight.
