Fountainhead 10/25/22

I fished from 7:30am to 3:00pm.  Water was low and 59-60 degrees.  Morning weather was perfect, but it was dead calm and clear.  I tried all kinds of baits and nothing was biting.

Finally, about 1pm I threw a Big TRD into a blowdown near deep water and got bit.  It was a nice fish and put up a good fight.  19" and extra long lower jaw.

I tried another cast to the same tree from a different angle and hooked another nice one around 2 pounds that jumped and shook the bait.  A little while later I caught a little LM on the same bait.

No other fish, but a nice day on the water!
