hmmm, I recall sending in a photo of a mangy looking fox a little more severe than this one and the game warden said it was a case of the mange. I had to look it up at the time. Felt terrible for the animal. That's suffering.
Turns out that ivermectin is the treatment for foxes and it does work! Poor little guy!

Ones 1st instinct is to give it water and food but that's a no no. If I had some ivermectin I would have slipped it a few tabs.
