Re: Rescue

In the second pix, above the people is the ice.

In the spring, the sun melts the ice, then it freezes solid at night

Re: Rescue

Oh no!  I thought he was part of the rescue.  So sorry to hear.  Hope he recovers fully.

Re: Rescue

Just got back from visiting and helping take care of the kid.

Amazing how much he healed in a week.  He's still in pain from the broken neck & ribs, but his face is starting to look like his again, the wounds are healing, and he's starting to move.

Nice area if you're into slime rockets

Welcome back.

Younger folks heal faster than us old farts! Glad he's doing well...

I could see the healing progression daily.  So could the Dr's.  Each day he could do more & more things.

I had to go buy another 12 pack because son was using it to eat off of.  We'd put the plates on top of the 12 pack so he could see what was on them.  Then we'd have to cut up his food

At the end of the trip we were busting on each other on everything.  Good to see he didn't loose his sense of humor.  Nor his appetite.

If you want a foodie town, Boulder CO is the place.  Ate at a DDD dive called Zo Ma Ma - Vietnamese street food - homemade noodles, dim sum, bao dumplings & daily specials.  Pork Belly and Duck were the daily special.

For all you old hippies out there, I stopped by the Hotel Boulderado and had a drink in honor of John Prine
