Started out Saturday in the marsh in the rain. It always rains when this crew comes to town. Last time it was a hurricane. Winds where stiff but fishable. Caught a good number of LGMouth on buzz baits. Maybe 18 total for the weekend on buzz baits. First day ended with four Snakehead in cooler. Here are some pics.
Capt Daves crew got into the LGMouth good to on chatterbait and worm. At one tree the convict bass ate the chatterbaits as well.Of coarse the bowfin did not disappoint both crews as they tore up spinner bait and chatterbaits. This crew also had a couple topwater pop r fish as well. here are more pics.
Thanks
Capt Mike

Mack had never seen a bowfin much less caught one. He took pictures of the first one I caught and then got to take pictures of his own. Really nice colors in the tail and fins of Fred's bowfin. (his first as well)
