Upper Potomac 9/13/21

Got out early.  Super cool red sunrise.  Tried topwater, but nada.

I ran up a bit and threw a BPS 1-minus and hooked this feisty 12"er.

Thought that meant it might be a good day, but that was it.  Got a couple swipes on that bait, a swimbait a tiny swimbait and a 1/8 oz. Chatterbait.  Water was stained to muddy.  Clearest water was in the middle.  Only one other boat out all morning.  Wind picked up after a while and I left after I ate my lunch.  Water got to about 75 degrees.  Nice morning.

I saw a dead smallie that was around 20" floating when I first put in.  That is the second large dead smallie I have seen this Summer.
