7-7 and 7-8 Report

13 year old granddaughter and granddad tonight. Never done this type of fishing before and after some instruction started to get the hang of it. Tried a few different styles to see what was there strongest tactic. Caught them on the pop r and at the end of the evening arms did hurt from so many casts. Here is a first bass ever pic.

These two guys have never had a trip with us that did not rain..so next year when they book I will not have to water my garden. Started out a bit slow as we tried several spots and lures. In the end it was the toad old style rigged that made the evening. So many blow ups and so many lost fish. But luck have it a few did come to the boat. Nice ones too.
