Cold LKA stripers 5-29

Probably the coldest Memorial Day Weekend ever at LKA.  Low to mid-50s and very breezy.  No pleasure boaters out today to speak of!  Benjamin and Cody came down with my daughter for the long weekend.  We went out around 1 pm after the rains passed through.  Winds were 10-20 and the temp got up to 55.  Fished for 2 hours and had a hard time finding fish....wonder why?  Benjamin did manage to hook and land an undersized striper.

I caught one the was maybe half that size.  He got cold around 3 pm and we called it quits.  Not supposed to be much better weather tomorrow, but we will give it a shot again.

No such thing as bad weather ...

Just bad cloths

And your grandson knows that!

Nice job getting out in the elements
