Microfishing 4/7

I did some microfishing in a small creek that starts as drainage from my neighborhood. There is one deepish hole that is about 15x7' and 3ft deep. A few weeks back I had seen a few fish that were much larger than the really abundant Eastern Blacknose Daces in this creek.  I've already netted a bunch of those and have some in my aquarium.

I was able to catch three of these larger fish which appear to be creek chubs.  There is still another similar size but bit a larger fish with a reddish tinted body in there. I was even able to hook one of the dace in the mouth, it's only 3" long.

Sounds like fun, but make sure you leave some in the creek.  Nice little habitat you have there!
