Brood X Cicada hatch

Will this make for some great top water bites on the UP?

Mid May to Late June is the best time...so they say.

Maybe, our remaining smallies can fatten up faster.

Re: Brood X Cicada hatch

As hard as they were to catch last year it'll be near impossible with all that free food floating around. Maybe after their bellies are stretched out and the bugs are gone they'll be easier to catch.

That's a lot of bugs!  Fish will put some weight on this year.

Smallies are aggressive creatures.  Put a lure in front of their face and they'll hit it because of the lure invading their territory.
