Saturday white out

Met a buddy at the take of of the Doah at 7am yesterday

Water was a little pushy but still safe

Temperature was shrinkage conditions - but with the proper laying, a gortex set of waders, off we launched

(will post pix later, IMGUR's giving me a hard time)

Water temps were in the upper 30's and air temp in the lower 30's.

Buddy scored almost immediately.

Took a while until I heard him saying got another.  And then another.

We floated the rest of the day with nothing until we got about 100' from the take out and I finally hooked up.  Played him a little and he spit the hook right at the boat.  Wish I got a pix, but didn't.

As we got to the put in to load up, it started snowing.  By the time we were on the road, there was white out conditions.  Once we got off the mountain (well, really out of the hills), the storm stopped and we had clear Skys.

Re: Saturday white out

You're nuts!!! But glad you are safe and alive! And that you guys had something tug at your lines...

I had a nice time at the Farmer's Market yesterday around 10a and it was a little windy.

Time to go fishin' again!
