Little Seneca Lake

Moved to a retirement community in Frederick, MD last year and had to get rid of my Kayaks. So being restricted to shoreline fishing, I'm trying to find places to go. Little Seneca Lake in Germantown looks promising, but it has a lot of shoreline and I don't know where to start. Does anyone have suggestions about where some good shoreline fishing might be found at this lake?
Thanks....

Re: Little Seneca Lake

Little Seneca is a trophy bass lake, so there are some bigguns in there, but it's highly pressured, and gets busy with recreational boaters. They have a kayak storage area, moorings are first come first serve, under non-COVID operations.

I would start at the Black Hill Boats parking lot. You can walk either left or right for decent bank access, or even fish from the dock on the left.

There is a little cove on the right that has held bass for me, I like it for pre-spawn topwater action: https://goo.gl/maps/oVJ8rfwASZPLwDnu5

On the other side of the lake, there is a hiking trail that goes around a couple of the lake fingers: https://goo.gl/maps/rhCggFMb6tZzaky49
Bank access will depend on the time of the year, the further into summer the more difficult because of the brush.

And there is decent bank access around the boat ramp: https://goo.gl/maps/jcybSDMCccwfuGCdA
I always see lots of yellow perch swimming around the kayak area. But it gets busy here, fish here early or late.

Fishing early is an easy deal for Bruce. He will be there before the birds start chirping...

Time to go fishin' again!

Re: Little Seneca Lake

Junger,
Thanks for the tips and the web references. Hopefully, I will get out there next week.

Ernie,
When you get up before 3am like I do, I don't even think they'd be open yet. And yes, I do normally eat lunch around 9am...
