4-29-20, Goose

This time, I was going to fish more than hike! I did..only walked a total of 1.5 miles. Fished a lot!

I went upstream...

...nice trail, nice looking water but I had just one bite, maybe.

The water was green and just a little stained. Perfect.

It looks like my smalie streak for the year is over...

... but it was a great day out in the wilderness! Saw some cool birds and a deer that wanted to see what I was up to. And I thought I saw a bear...only it was a dog off leash. I told the lady that it was not nice to be startled like that.

I did not go all the way to the bridge (Riverside Pkwy) but there was plenty more water to fish for sure!

The parking lot was full...time for people to get back to work so us retired guys can enjoy nature peacefully Yes lady, I am talking to you. Your yipping dogs were annoying!

And now...more rain!

I stopped doing "projects" a few years back. tongue But I do love to cook and do 95%+ of it at our house. Short ribs sound great!!
