Myrtle Beach Redfish

I was down in Myrtle with my mom for an impromptu vacation and decided to see if there was any good fishing I could do while down there; I didn't want to pier or fish from the surf, didn't have the energy for that to be honest! So I looked up a charter with the best reviews and it also happened to be an inland charter which I tend to enjoy more anyways. The captain was a year younger than me (25) which I thought was awesome, and he did a great job putting us on fish, and while I was hooked up he caught an absolute unit but I don't have a photo for it.

Anyways here are some photos, caught about 3 reds, one bluefish (don't remember the name), and two stingrays. The last red was awesome because it was on topwater, and they are awesome fish. The blue in their tail when they're mad is pretty rad. I'll be back in November when they spawn.

Very nice MO! And my condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dad. I hope you are all doing well.

I may be down there in Sept. so I may look this Capt. up.

Great report and nice reds! The puppy drum are nowhere to be seen in Virginia this year, I'm guessing it's a down year in their breeding cycle up here.
