I do not have my buddy's pix, but hope he sign's up for the board and posts some.
Another Canadian trip in the books. Best so far for big fish and numbers. Nice variety too. Started with a 17 hour drive. We stopped about 12 hours into the drive then bought food and got a hotel. Then woke early, drove the remaining 5 hours, and fished the rest of the day. Fish started biting right away. Got to the point where we stoped taking pix of 18" small we had so many. Fished for the next six days 8-10 hours/day, then ate, had a few barley pops, then slept for the next day. Black flies were out, but they pretty much left us alone. Mosquito's were a differed story. They were vicious and on steroids. Last day we fished until noon, then took to the road and got a hotel after about 9 hours of driving. The next day took us 9-10 hours to get home because of all the construction on the roads. Even got a few bonus fish. Those pike were mean and scary

Thx - we've been up there for the past 4=5 years and this was the best trip so far. I'm not a lake angler, but I'm starting to learn where they hand and when they are there
The pike and walleye were bonus fish while we targeted small mouth bass.

Would you mind divulging, what body of water?
Have you fished NH lakes area? (Winnapesaukee & Squam) they look very similar to your lake, and only about a 8 hour drive, which I'm thinking trailering the 14' Bomber up there with my boys.

Quebec - don't matter what lake or river - take your pick and you'll find fish like this.
I've been guided by the best on Champlain and some smaller lakes above Atica NY. And fished allot of rivers and reservoirs in Maine. NOTHING! compares to Canada fishing.
Except salt water on a good day

Great trip. Seems like the fishing just gets better and better the further North you go. I bet the Arctic Char bite is amazing at the North Pole
