Doah 6/4

To try out my outboard for the first time I decided the Doah at Rt7 would be the easiest place to go at the time. I saw almost 11mph on my Lowrance.  I think it has some more speed in it, especially without the dog up front.  The dog shifting weight makes it squirrely at higher speeds.  It does get up a go a lot better now and I have a lot finer speed control.

I couldn't really run up river because it got shallow fast and less than a mile downstream there was a spot that was looking quite sporty that I wasn't going to attempt going through with the dog because getting back up would be sketchy.

I also caught a few fish.  Two smallies on a spoon and one sunfish.
