5-8-19, Cedar

Got 3 bites while throwing my 7wt.

1. Crappie took a white streamer and was on for a second, got a look at him and then he got off. Nice but no cigar.

2. Bass took the San Juan worm and made a leap and he got off. Maybe 12-13" or so. No cigar.

3. Bass took the San Juan worm. I knew he/she was beefy. Made several runs. I kept saying, "please stay on". It did! I guess about 17-18" based on later measurements. Three pounds for sure. Earned my cigar!

The reel is 4" in diameter.
