Got our yesterday (fri) for a few hrs before the rain came. Was hoping for another banner day like my last post but wasn't to be.
Similar conditions, overcast, river down maybe 2-3" and water temp around 60. Struggled to get 2 in the yak, both on tubes.
They were not chasing any cranks, swimbaits or inlines.
Lost something huge on a ledge, think it was a cat. On a side note, I had 3 break offs on brand new Power Pro braid 15/4 which never happens.
Wonder if it is defective? 15/4 almost always handles anything I hook into on the Potomac.

Sounds like you hooked some. Break offs are strange with 15/4. The river is fickle for sure this Spring.
