Lower Potomac 2/22/19

Got out from 10:30am until about 3:30pm.  Water was green to stained and still pretty cold.  I was surprised I was unable to get bit throwing a tube, chatterbait, lipless and regular cranks.  I finally caught a decent 15"er as I was working my way out near a blowdown.  It bit a swim bait on one of George's SWM jigs.  Almost time, but not quite.

You know that I almost got the boat out of mothballs but you are right, "Almost time, but not quite."

Nice! Wish I could get out during the week, the weekend weather has been awful this year.
