6-9 LKA

Water temps were low 80s making striper fishing tough.  This time of year with the water so warm, they essentially want live bait put in front of their face.....making lure fishing much less productive.  We started out bass fishing early with top water.  Ellen missed a few and I got lucky on one blowup.

We went jigging for stripers next.  Marked some fish, but they would not eat. Ellen caught a little white perch on a silver buddy, but no stripers.

We moved around the lake looking and found another pod of fish.  They were all over the screen but not hungry.  After 30 minutes or so jigging in their face, I aggravated a punk into taking a swipe at my hopkins.
