Occoquan 4/11

First, my first fish of the year from Sunday at pond in the neighborhood where I grew up.  Caught it with same style spoon that has worked there for 30 years.

Got to fishing today around 4pm.  There were a few people out in a jon boat and canoe and few on the shore.  It seemed to be slow for everyone.  Very little jumping of fish.

I landed three or four and hooked up with a few more.  One male that was 13-14"ish and the rest were 16".

The last I caught by hooking the snap swivel tied to a yellow spoon that was in its throat.  I got that spoon out and sent it on its way.

Luv the antique lures, but I would replace that rusty snap ring before you get your heart broken
