But that event is a week away so we'll see how much the forecast changes. Regardless I'm sticking with my bet lol.

Looks like March 11-12.....and it looks like significant snow for our general area. Let this be the end of winter!

Yep, they are all over the place. That's why I started this poop storm!

I hope we get 1 big storm and then that's it.
Perfect opportunity to make some chili and eat it all day.

Another opinion, just off the press: "If you take all the models out there...the general theme right now is the phasing between the northern jet stream and southern jet stream is out of sync..too late or dosent happen which means that the storm right now on the models looks a bit suppressed(too far south). We got some work to do to get this storm back on track where the models had it during some of those great runs. Once again another threat where we are now on the outside looking in. Instead of being the bullseye.. we once again need a north trend..or a south trend..etc. It hasn't snowed all year in the area my optimism for this storm is fading a but but I havent given up."

Yes? No? Yes? No?
Who wants to be bold and predict something now (other than John D. at .25" and JC at 1")? The models are all over the place.....

Over the years, we've had some great exchanges on guessing snow totals when we have a storm (usually over 5-6"). Over the last 2 years, nada! So I decided to stir the pot since some of the amateur forecasters were signaling the storm. They got the storm right, now we have to see where it ends up going and how cold it gets.

Well, I'm glad the storm stayed south. But if you want some, it won't be that far away!
Still don't see 60 degrees in the for a bit and then another cool down! Aargh!
The pix of John and George fishing yesterday, while all bundled up, gave me no urge to get out there yet.
