Re: Today was about the last chance for a while

My mom was telling me how nice and cool it was in Miami today....a high of 72 degrees. They all wear scarves and jackets in the evenings!

We can double our temps and won't get near 72.....

Yeah everything is gonna be iced up for awhile. I hope the speckled trout in the Chesapeake don't get killed off from the cold again like they did a few years ago hmm

Planning/fantasizing about Florida trips is keeping me warm.  This weather stinks!

That place looks familiar. Think I prefer the dying grass to that crap.

The water looks so...square at the ramp. So fascinating. Wait, what am I talking about? The weather needs to warm up so I can get out of the house lol.

Hmmm....we could charge a fee to fish....limited times. Do it like fly guys, charge a rod fee. How long an ROI until we break even?

It was a little in jest, but they actually do that in LA (except it's not cold there). There's a park where the pond is built out of concrete, and you pay $15 to fish, and something like $5/lb for the fish if you keep them. I saw guys walking out with some 5-10lb catfish....
