August 20th Double Report

This evening I had the pleasure of Gil and Tommy on my boat. We found the snakehead and they did eat. However we did not actually land one. Lost a perfectly good swim bait to a big snakehead that jumped three times just like a marlin.
Two times it had the swimbait and the third the 40 lg braid was cut clean off. What a sight to see. 15 minutes later another sky rocked on a toad and it came out as it slow motioned 8 feet across the water just like a marlin.
Tommy caught a big LGMouth that was long and thin. What a great night of fun puns and cleaver word twists.

First husband and wife team this year.  John and Lisa cast their arms off tonight.  Not a lot of love from the fish though.  Lisa did catch a bass big enough to eat her previous best only bass in her life and she learned a lot.  Look for the silver lining sometimes.

Re: August 20th Double Report

I keep asking my wife is she wants to go on a trip. for snakeheads...she keeps saying no.

I think a camelpack full of wine will do the trick.
