Beech Lake Report - 6/30/08

It is great that I have been able to get back out on the local lakes recently. Today I tackled Beech for a little over an hour before the thunderstorm blew in. The bite started out slow and I didn't do much for the first half hour. The bite slowly picked up and with the same combination as yesterday on the Pavilion Lake, I ended up with a creel of six. I report nothing of great size, but I feel like it is important to maintain your awareness and sensitivity for any bass bite. Therein lies my personal victory! I have another tournament in a few weeks on the James River and I need to stay sharp.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
