It's become a bit of a tradition to come down to Florida for vacation with some friends, and we spent one week in Destin where I did some fishing from the surf but it didn't produce much except for a few small pompano and one ladyfish. It's a combination of my inexperience and also the offshore storm produced some unnaturally rough waters.
Now we got to disney two days ago and I leave today, and since I didn't want to go to the park, I decided to do an impromptu guide trip on lake toho yesterday. It was incredible! From the guide service to the fishing, it was everything I hoped for and some.
One of the promise lands
The first place we fished was this cool creek that held the lake record
Biggest fish of the trip, about 6-7lbs
Great guide, Captain Durwood
A few more good sized ones
And a quality sunset to finish it off

No, we tried top water during the golden hour but only had one fish miss a blowup on a frog.
